Direct Drives

A direct drive, also referred to as a torque motor, is a rotary actuator usually with a through hole. Some are with housing and others are built into the machine (frameless motors). Direct Drives are usually designed for low speeds and high torques. A rotary encoder or analog hall sensors are needed for operation.
